The Direct Student Loan Program
We participate exclusively in the Federal Direct Student Loan Program (Subsidized Student Loans, Unsubsidized Student Loans and Parent Loans), where the federal government is the lender. Loans are currently disbursed in two installments in a given semester.
If you and/or your parent(s) are interested in federal loans, you will be REQUIRED to:
-
complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA),
-
complete the CVCC Loan Request Form,
-
complete entrance counseling through the Direct Student Loan Program,
-
and complete a Master Promissory Note.
Make sure you are familiar with the loan policies and procedures.
