Heating, Ventilation, & Air Conditioning
This program is designed for the student who desires skills in heating and air conditioning. Upon completion of this program, the student will possess advanced skills in electricity, circuits, controls and heat pumps to obtain employment as an entry-level installer or service assistant.
Heavy Equipment Operator
This program is designed for the student who desires a career as a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator. The curriculum covers the foundational skills of safety, pre- and post- operation checks, site planning and layout, and operations for a range of light-duty and heavy equipment. Heavy Equipment Operations support multiple unique exposures to utility tractors, forklifts, loaders, dozers, motor graders, cranes, and more. The Heavy Equipment Operator program provides students the opportunity to earn industry-recognized credentials in both NCCER CORE and NCCER Heavy Equipment Operations.
Industrial Maintenance
These programs are designed to prepare students for working in industrial maintenance.
Machine Tool
This program is designed for the student who desires to become a highly skilled operator of machines and tools used in the manufacturing industry. Upon completion of the program, the student may become a skilled machinist or machinist trainee.
Machine Tool & Quality
This program is designed for the student who desires to become a skilled quality control inspector and machinist trainee. Upon completion of this program, the student will be able to verify precision manufactured parts meet engineering blueprints and standards.
Mechatronics
This program is designed for the student who desires a career in advanced manufacturing. It combines content from mechanics, electronics, robotics and computer-related subjects. In class, knowledge is balanced with practical, hands-on training such as assembly, test and trouble-shooting. Students earn four industry certifications. Upon completion of this program, the student will be qualified for a wide variety of positions that offer great career potential in the local area.
Plumbing
This program is designed for the student who desires a career as a skilled plumber. The curriculum covers the concepts technicians need to safely install, test, maintain, and repair many different types of pipe systems for residential, commercial, and public buildings. Coverage of math, drawings, code, and other critical knowledge and skills ensure learners are set up for job success. The Plumbing program provides students the opportunity to earn industry-recognized credentials in both NCCER CORE and NCCER Plumbing.
Tradesman Update
This course will provide you with information concerning new definitions, code changes, and general requirements, impacts on the job, general use and special equipment included in the respective codes.
Welding Technology
This program is designed for the student who desires to obtain skills as a beginning welder. Other possible positions include welder, metal fabricator and welding layout.
