Annual Campaign

Unrestricted and restricted gifts are received on an annual basis. Unrestricted gifts are most useful to the Foundation in funding those priorities determined annually by the foundation's board of directors working in conjunction with the leadership of the college.  Restricted gifts for annual scholarship awards, endowments, instructional equipment, and other designated purposes provide Much needed long and short-term support of students and programs at CVCC.

Planned Gifts

Deferred gifts of cash, securities and real property must be accepted by the CVCC Educational Foundation Board of Directors. These gifts may endow scholarships, facilities, faculty or administrative chairs, and operational requirements of divisions, departments or programs. Gifts-in-Kind Donations of instructional equipment or other educationally related goods or services may be accepted by the Foundation. Approval of the appropriate academic dean or administrative vice president is generally required. Gifts-in-kind donations of property are transferred to the College and thus become assets of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
