Career Services Center in Bedford Hall
Who is this for?
This workshop is designed for those transitioning from school into the workforce for the first time, those who have been unemployed for a period of time and are re-entering the workforce, and those who are entering a new career pathway.
It is also helpful for those who need employment, but lack motivation or confidence, and those who don’t know where to begin.
What will you learn?
This workshop will help you to identify & define your strengths, weaknesses, & skills-sets to create resume’ summary statements & answer important job interview questions.
It will help you to develop a strong, healthy mind-set & attitude that will improve self-confidence, self-motivation, & the qualities that employers are looking for.
Through activities such as “Get to Know Yourself” & “Create Your Own Stories”, this will prepare you for the transition from school to the workforce, and/or help you take charge of your career pathway.
