Skilled to Handle Our Electrical World
This course the is first in the series of four; includes co-enrollment in the NCCER Core Introductory Craft Skills Course. Electricians install electrical systems in structures; they install wiring and other electrical components, such as circuit breaker panels, switches, and light fixtures, and they follow blueprints, the National Electrical Code and state and local codes. Electrical Levels 1 & 2 includes content on orientation, safety, electrical circuits, electrical theory, and introduction to code, basic electrical drawings, and residential electrical services.
Students must have previously completed or be co-enrolled in the NCCER Core Introductory Craft Skills course.
